FW 96/97 collection, shot by Steven Meisel, is a tribute to the a casual sensuality, a tribute to the limits of sexiness.

Rigorous tailoring meets cheerful prints. On the technical aspect, this is the first thing that comes to mind when looking closely at the archives, the press release, the inspirational drawings.
Or "the" inspiration: Fellini's "Le Notti di Cabiria" (1957). The tale of a feisty hooker known for her signature thrown together look. Translated in fashion by "Mix & Match". A carefree yet very intense look that pushes the limits of seduction to the extreme.

Brocades, flowers, zebra, cherry, crochet, herringbone twee, leopard & lace: a parade of prints and materials worn together mixing the day with the night in a state of timeless confusion and dream.

The signature look? A herringbone coat and black seamed stockings. Take note.

Cherry blossoms, zebra prints, tailored coats, and the corset dress in all of its versions. It's a full explosion of cheerfulness and red. A salute to Giulietta Masina.

Shot by Steven Meisel at Andy Warhol's Montauk estate, the campaign portrays model Elsa Benitez playing Anna Magnani. Note: the importance of the coat

The red carpet allure. Models flirting with the camera wearing the signature corset gown in chiffon. All prints allowed. As seen on Carla Bruni on the catwalk.

The walk: coats and gowns play with corsets. Prints are the new accessories. As always: daring, sensual, extremely outrageous yet chic.

ANGELINA JOLIE FOR LOUIS VUITTON

WATCH Angelina Jolie's Mini-Movie for Louis Vuitton

Grazia Daily was really taken with the gorgeous snap of Angelina Jolie in Cambodia taken by Annie Leibovitz for the Louis Vuitton Core Values campaign. So, you can imagine our excitement when we stumbled across this moving behind-the-scenes video of the UN Goodwill Ambassador being interviewed on location in the Siem Reap province.
Angelina was obviously a natural choice to pose for the campaign, following in the footsteps of Bono, Madonnaand Scarlett Johansson. But it's not just her staggering beauty, extensive charity work and role within the UN that made her the perfect cover girl. As well as a lifelong love of Louis Vuitton (Angelina is pictured with her own monogrammed Alto bag), Cambodia holds a special place in Ms Jolie's heart.

She first travelled to Cambodia 10 years ago while on the set of the Tomb Raider film and was surprised to learn that it was the first film to be shot there after the war; a war which left devastating consequences for the country now littered with live landmines. Humbled by both its beauty and the strong bonds between the families who've endured extreme poverty, she visited again with the UN and on her 3rd trip, she met her adopted son Maddox, now 9 years old.
In the film, Angelina talks about the significance of the country for her family with her sons eating the local delicacy of crickets "like Doritos" and how her visits there have made her realise how little she learned in school about the Vietnam War and the repercussions it left on the ravished land.

The interview itself is interspersed with beautiful scenes of the Cambodian landscape and its 'sweet natured and kind' inhabitants and a child can be heard singing over images of children playing.

We also get an exclusive look at the shoot with Angelina taking centre stage, bare foot on the small wooden boat and her 4 children in the background who she brought along to the set with her. The 'Core Values' campaign imagery is a far cry from the red carpet gowns we so often seen her pictured in but as Pietro Beccari, Executive Vice President of Louis Vuitton quite rightly observes, "People are not used to seeing Angelina in this situation. I like the fact that it's a real moment. This travel message we give through personal journeys is a fundamental one for the brand". It's also one for Angelina too.

HOW TO DO KIM KARDASHIAN'S FLAWLESS MAKE-UP

Here are a few tips on how to get Kim’s basic look. I’ve included some personal recommendations that I’ve seen on shoots and tried myself.

1.       Kim washes her face and applies moisturizer.  After this she uses Intuit Beauty Photo Shoot makeup primer.

2.       To conceal imperfections, Kim uses Cle De Peau Concealer Stick in Ocre. I recommend MAC studio Finish concealer in NW 25, tried and tested.

3.       After she applies her concealer, she uses Make Up For Ever Liquid Foundation – she mixes one pump of No.5 and two pumps of No.4.  This is a great idea to get your perfect match girls! To blend and apply it for a seamless finish she uses MAC brush 180 (small buffer Brush). A great foundation on the market is Estee Lauder Double Wear foundation, which gives a flawless finish and lasts all day.

4.       Since Kim hates dark circles, after the foundation, she applies a little more concealer just under her eyes.  For this step, she prefers MAC Select Moisture cover Concealer in NW30.  You can also use your MAC Studio Finish pot of concealer in NW25 for dark circles – it does the trick!

5.       To set the foundation, Kim lightly applies MAC Select Sheer Pressed Powder in NC 30 with a brush.  Then to tan it up, she lightly brushes on MAC Select/Sheer Powder in NW 45.  Girls you don’t have to do both if you don’t want to; dusting some translucent powder all over your face to set it, (using a big powder brush) will do the trick.

6.       Kim is ‘obsessed with blush’ and uses MAC Powder Blush in Gingerly.  She also mentions her new love for cream blush, saying that it works better, as it lasts longer.  I personally prefer the powder version to avoid looking to ‘shiny’ during summer days.

7.       Time for the eyes. First she applies MAC Paint Pot in Painterly to the entire lid, using her fingers; this prevents powder eye shadow from creasing.  If she is going for a black smoky look, she uses MAC Eye Shadow in Carbon.  If she wants a gray smoky eye, she uses Knight Divine or Print.  For a brown smoky eye, she likes Embark.  For a fresh, shimmery eye, she chooses MAC Pigment in Tan.  Kim also does bright eye colours, and loves vivid shadows from Make up For Ever.

8.       Kim always uses black eyeliner.  Her favourite is Stila Kajal Eye Liner in Onyx.  I recommend the ‘Collection Eyeliner’ from Michellori, which has staying potential and provides a deep defined colour.

9.       Kim applies LancĂ´me Hypnose Mascara, and then layers on MAC Zoom Lash on top. Another option for thick and lustrous lashes MAC mascara in Haute Couture, which has an adjustable wand with the option of light or heavy applications!  Kim always uses a separator brush to prevent clumps, and only wears false eyelashes for photo shoots because she’s clueless when trying to apply them.

10.   Kim lightly lines lips with MAC Lip Pencil Stripdown, then swipes on MAC Lipstick in Angel.  Then she applies NARS Turkish Delight Lip Gloss on top.  For a very nude matte lip, she lines with MAC Subculture Lip Pencil and tops it off with NARS Velvet Matte Lip Pencil in belle De Jour. Another great lipstick is Avon’s Ultra Colour Rich Lipstick in Coronation
